Molly Williams is a textile artist who produces the most imaginative and inspiring pieces in a range of fabrics. Her techniques include traditional felting, free machine embroidery and digital design. She says her work is mainly figurative in both 2D and 3D. "My current work is inspired by contemporary dance and the physical exertion of the athletic body." You will find a collection of her work - and work in progress - at her studio at "Loring", Yew Tree Lane, Rotherfield, TN6 3QP on 18th, 19th, 23rd, 25th and 26th September when she will open to visitors between 10 am - 4 pm. To find her, take the hill down from the Kings Arms pub, go under the railway bridge and take the first right into Yew Tree Lane. "Loring" is the fourth house on the left after the junction with Sheriff's Lane. thecottagewindow@yahoo.co.uk
